Chapter 1
What the client needed
The app grew out of the Bamboo Club community. People who moved to a new city, went freelance or are between jobs want to meet people nearby with a good reason to meet, without scrolling another feed.

Chapter 3
How it is built
The site and system are built with Next.js on Vercel, with Supabase and Neon Postgres for data. The iOS app is wrapped in Capacitor and adds push, location and sharing from the phone, and on Android it runs as a Trusted Web Activity. A site update therefore reaches the apps without a new store submission.
