Button text, error messages, empty states – המילים הקטנות שהעצוב מפספס. הנה איך לכתוב אותן.
כללי אצבע
קצר: כל מילה חייבת להיות שם. אם אפשר בלי – הורידו.
ברור: מה בדיוק יקרה אחרי פעולה? ‘Submit’ לא ברור. ‘Send message’ כן.
אנושי: אל תגידו כמו מחשב. תגידו כמו אדם.
Buttons – מה לכתוב
Action verbs: ‘Save’, ‘Delete’, ‘Send’, ‘Continue’.
לא ‘OK’ או ‘Yes’ – לא ברור מה. תמיד ספציפי.
לא ‘Submit’ – יבש. משהו יותר specific: ‘Create account’, ‘Confirm payment’, ‘Post message’.
Error Messages
Bad: ‘Error 500’.
Slightly better: ‘Something went wrong’.
Good: ‘We couldn’t save your changes. Please check your internet connection and try again.’
Great: ‘Save failed – your Wi-Fi may have dropped. We’ll auto-retry when connection is back.’
הכלל: (1) מה קרה, (2) למה זה קרה (אם ידוע), (3) מה לעשות עכשיו.
Empty States
לא ‘No items’. במקום: ‘You haven’t added any tasks yet. Add your first task to get started.’
או: ‘Your inbox is empty. Nice work! 🎉’ – להפוך את החוסר לחיובי.
Loading States
לא ‘Loading…’. במקום: ‘Analyzing your data…’ או ‘Preparing your report…’. ספציפי גם ל-context.
אם ארוך: להוסיף context. ‘This might take a minute – we’re processing 10,000 records.’
Confirmations
Bad: ‘Are you sure?’.
Good: ‘Delete this project? This action cannot be undone.’
Better: ‘Delete “Q1 Marketing Plan”? All 47 tasks and 12 files will be permanently deleted.’
Onboarding
Bad: ‘Welcome!’.
Good: ‘Welcome to Podd. Let’s set up your first workflow in 3 minutes.’
